HBO wanted to motivate their call-center personnel and get them to push harder for new subscriptions. KERN optimized their call-center materials to speak to the salespeople in a way that got them excited about selling HBO. The immediate success of the new materials led to HBO and sister channel Cinemax bringing KERN on to develop mail and digital direct-response campaigns for at-home subscribers and a variety of specialized audiences.
