Premera Blue Cross is the largest health plan provider in the Pacific Northwest, but only the fourth largest Medicare Advantage provider in Washington. After a 2019 acquisition that more than doubled its Medicare Advantage membership, Premera Blue Cross turned to KERN to create and manage an integrated campaign including direct mail, paid media, DRTV, radio, print and alt media to support member acquisition goals for 2020 AEP. Our omnichannel media mix and data models, where we targeted high-propensity prospects, resulted in a 48% increase in AEP enrollees.
